Every function worked fine except the lp to cd recording which was the main reason I bought it. Out of 15 wasted cd's I was able to record 2. It would begin recording then stop after a few tracks. It recorded cassettes to cd's beautifully. The sound from the tuner is fair, could use more depth (bass/treble), but again, it's a turntable and not a stereo. Sturman (Chicago) - See all my reviews This review is from: Crosley Director CD Recorder CR2406A - Paprika (Kitchen) This item has performed admirably in each mode -- CD, phonograph, radio, and record to CD transfer which is the principle purpose for which I purchased it. The sound is quite good although not as good a many of those big old console stereos of the 1960s. Nevertheless, one should not fear purchasing one of these units since, in my experience, it will not disappoint. 13 of 16 people found the following review helpful By This review is from: Crosley Director CD Recorder CR2406A - Paprika (Kitchen) Purchaed a local discount store. Thank God I can return it. It skipped on all three LPs I tried. The cassette player would not work and the CD recorder would not open. OPEN appeared on the LCD screen but that is as close as it got. A piece of GARBAGE. Avoid. |
